Site currently holds custom-written reviews (original content) for approx. 225 cookbooks and food/cooking-related books, each with a cover image.

Site consistently ranks #1 on the major search engines for the critical search term "cookbook reviews". You cannot be missed by anyone looking for cookbook reviews, as this site dominates that space.

MONETIZATION

As the editor of CBWL, you will be able to request "review copies" of most cookbooks sold in North America directly from the publishers, especially new releases. These copies become yours to keep, so you can easily build up an enviable cookbook collection -- to the point that you will be giving away the ones you don't have room for. You can easily acquire several books per month this way. Of course, you will have to look at these books, and write/post reviews of the ones you like.

Site currently is highly under-monetized, with the only official source of revenue being affiliate sales commissions via Amazon. To bring in more money, banner or text ads (eg. Google Adsense), other affiliate sales links, sponsorships, etc. could easily be added.

The site owner does NOT get involved with the actual sales or fulfillment of cookbooks... that is all handled by Amazon since the books are actually purchased from them on their website. Site is hosted at Lunarpages.com (approx. cost $9/mth) including the domain name, cookbookswelove.com. Site purchase includes the domain name transferred over to the new owner. It is recommended that the hosting be left untouched.

Purchase price includes conversion of Amazon links in the web page code to use your own Amazon affiliate account ID (so you will get the sales commissions), plus up to 3 hours of e-mail or telephone startup assistance if required.
