Online video site GoFish Corp. agreed to buy rival Bolt Media, the same day the latter company was reportedly nearing a multi-million-dollar deal to settle a copyright-infringement suit filed by Universal Music Goup. Allrecipes Web site sold for $66 million to the publisher (Reader’s Digest) of Rachel Ray’magazine. Allrecipes.com was founded in 1997. In 2006 it claimed 1.6 million registered users and 30,000 recipes. Reader’s Digest expected Allrecipes.com to add about $4 million of sales before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization.
