It might not be official, but apparently, News Corp. has acquired Beliefnet.com, the NYC-based multi-faith community site which was launched in December 1999. Apparently, the site boasts over 3.1 million unique visitors a month and has been profitable since October 2002. It previously had raised $7 million fromĀ Softbank Capital in 2005.
